At the 2025 Ag in Motion farm show, AGI showcased a prototype battery-powered grain auger developed in collaboration with a California company.
Kent Woods, Director of Global Product Management, said the e-auger features advanced smart technology, including sensors, cameras, GPS mapping and human detection for enhanced safety.
AGI will do further testing this winter to assess battery performance in extreme temperatures. The e-auger may hit the market in 2026.
