Brownfield Ag News: Additional Benefits of Energy Efficient Equipment
There are several ways the USDA works to help farmers. One program in particular, the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), offers grants and loans that can cover up to 50% of the cost of installing new energy efficient technology. Brownfield’s Meghan Grebner turned to Jeff Cruzen, AGI’s Dryer Business Development Representative, to learn about how to best apply for these grants and use them to install energy efficient mixed flow dryers on the farm.
