The Opportunity

IT Administrator, Infrastructure & Support will be responsible for managing and maintaining local end-to-end network and IT interests, as well as interacting with global environment for various projects and initiatives. This position will be under the supervision of our Manager, IT Infrastructure, with a focus on service management.The Team Reporting directly to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, this role will liaison with IT team members across all AGI divisions to support employees with their system related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Procure IT Hardware and Software.
  • Administer Cybersecurity and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Systems.
  • Administer Security Awareness Training System.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Security Center.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Compliance Center.
  • Administer Internal Security Systems.
  • Maintain IT Policies and Procedures.
  • Execute IT audits in support of Information Security Risk Assessment (ISRA).
  • Administer Intranet based on SharePoint.
  • Provide training on Microsoft productivity applications such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive,SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
  • Effectively communicate with end-users and team members.
  • Assist Help Desk with any issues that arise related to the systems/applications responsible for

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or equivalent mix of training and experience.
  • 1 + years of work experience as a Help Desk Technician, System Administrator or similar role.
  • A professional and positive attitude and approach to work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related Microsoft Productivity Tools.
  • Experience with PowerShell an asset.
  • Industry certifications in IT, networking and/or security would be an asset.
  • Basic understanding of PC, Server and Network hardware and technologies.
  • Basic understanding computer networking.
  • Experience with performing user administration functions.
  • Experience with Windows Networks and Office 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with G-suite, Azure Cloud and/or AWS would be an asset.
  • Linux/Mac experience would be an asset.
  • Basic understanding of security terminology, concepts and tools used to protect IT systems and networks.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Communicate effectively both verbal and written.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, manage and evaluate job tasks.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations.
