Position Summary:

AGI is currently seeking a Sales Representative based out of Minot, ND.  This role reports to the US Director of Sales – Portable equipment and will generate maximum profitable sales through the execution of an annual sales plan which meets or exceeds AGI’s financial targets and incorporates Ag Growth Internationals strategic direction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals by product and territory as set out in the annual budget
  • Maintain positive and productive relations with all divisions, warehouses, and dealers
  • Compile, analyze, and distribute sales statistics
  • Monitor accounts and assist with collections
  • Oversee field service and warranty requests
  • Manage farm shows and coordinate with the divisions and AGI marketing department
  • Monitor stock points and manage field inventory
  • Gather competitive intelligence for strategic analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies:

Applicants should have an agriculture degree, business degree or equivalent professional designation and 5+ years of progressive sales experience in agriculture. The successful candidate must be motivated, highly organized and an effective communicator. A professional attitude and exceptional time management skills in a high-paced environment are required. Previous agriculture equipment sales experience in the US is an asset. Expected travel requirements of 30-50% primarily in North Dakota.
