The Opportunity 

Perform emergency and routine preventative machinery maintenance, building maintenance, and office maintenance.

The Team

The role will report to the Plant Manager and will contribute towards the efficient maintenance of the plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the maintenance of machinery to avoid and reduce production downtime.
  • Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports, in order to determine timing for machinery maintenance and to evaluate current maintenance estimates and outputs.
  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and maintenance sequences to meet maintenance goals and limited production interruption.
  • Inspect equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training.
  • Observe work, and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
  • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
  • Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.
  • Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance, or efficiency.
  • Determine standards, budgets, maintenance goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads.
  • Requisition supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance
  • Oversee maintenance of company vehicles..
  • Set up and adjust maintenance and equipment schedules.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) or equivalent related experience.
  • Three to Seven years related experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Computer literate.
  • Microsoft Office Applications.
