The drum cleaner machine developed by AGI assures the best possible performance combined with user-friendly operation and installation. This equipment is used for removing coarse impurities of various types present in the grain such as sticks, straw, and threads through an effective separation process.
The motor drives the main shaft of the drum cleaner, which is fitted with a rotating sieve drum. Material is fed into the drum cleaner via a bucket elevator connected to the inlet. Inside the drum, a sieve with mesh sizes selected according to the type of grain filters out impurities. Clean grain passes through the mesh, while oversized impurities are carried forward by the auger flight and discharged into the impurity hopper. A spring-loaded brush mounted on top of the drum provides continuous cleaning of the sieve surface. Dust and fine particles are removed efficiently by the integrated aspiration system, ensuring smooth and hygienic operation.
