The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a Software Developer to join our growing team. The Team

Our tech team is comprised of software developers (Data + Web + API + Software Reliability), Firmware Developers, Machinery Integrations, Infrastructure + Security (DevOps) and QA all led by the CTO. This role would report directly to the Development Team Lead.  

Responsibilities 

  • Write efficient code that is usable and testable
  • Collaborate with peers on the technical and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Write tests and participating in the quality assurance process
  • Leverage UI/UX frameworks such as React and Django to build engaging data visualization and decision-making tools for our customers
  • Write applications across the technology stack as needed to support team deliverables
  • Write tests and participating in the quality assurance process
  • Analyze code for problem resolution and performance optimization

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • At least 1 year of Linux/Unix experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL and databases (PostgreSQL knowledge preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 2 years of development experience
  • Ability to accept and embrace change within fast-paced business environment
