The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a Service Technician for Yargus, a division of AGI. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the successful deployment and installation of AGI Yargus equipment.

The Team

You will work closely with and report to the Yargus Service and Install Manager.  You will work in collaboration with Service Coordinator and automation to perform a wide variety of services, such as installation, repairing and assembling.


The Service Technician provides and receives information and guidance from the Service and Install team to perform their functions of their position, including but not limited to the following:

  • Perform welding, torching and fabricating as needed
  • Develop a list of resources and materials needed to complete assigned projects
  • Identify maintenance related issues, implement solutions
  • Maintain preventative maintenance records.
  • Train and understand all manufacturing equipment.
  • Train customers in operational procedure and troubleshooting
  • Travel to customer work sites both domestic and abroad is required.  
  • Field customer phone calls in timely and concise manner.
  • Demonstrate and follow established procedures for safety and monitor safe work habits of others working in the department.
  • Work in a team atmosphere.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and follow LOTO procedures
  • Class A CDL
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Overtime may be required including nights and weekends.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Must demonstrate organization skills and present self in a professional manner while interacting with customers. 
  • Must be task driven.
  • Must demonstrate computer skills as required. 
  • Must ensure operations of the department run in a timely and efficient manner as directed by the Service Manager
