The Opportunity

AGI - Tramco is actively seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join the Sales department. In this role, you will perform inside sales functions for parts sales for the dry bulk material handling product line,  and provide customer support to current and potential customers over the phone as well as in-person. You will maintain contact with customers to ensure that needs have been met and to assist them with any additional problems that may arise well after the purchase.

The Team

This role will report directly to the Engineering and Sales Manager and work with sales/engineering/production to bring the company products in line with customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer account information, perform rate analysis, analyze and resolve billing issues.
  • Provide general sales support to sales technicians.
  • Perform tasks such as system data entry, equipment delivery, inventory tracking, literature stocking, and writing and sending correspondence
  • Work with customers to provide sales support and customer service over the phone and in person. Promote and explain products to businesses and handle billing questions.  
  • Assist with preparation of rate and proposal presentations.
  • Handle international shipping duties, including obtaining international freight rates, schedule containers to be loaded, and arrange international air freight shipments. Prepare documents required for international shipment, including pro forma invoice, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, etc. Also handles letter of credit documents.
  • Assist sales staff in professionally responding to current and potential customer inquiries.
  • Implement sales support administrative projects as needed.
  • Continually enhance knowledge of Tramco products and services to provide quality sales support and respond to customer requests.
  • Daily reports of conveyor, spare parts on orders, and proposals.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business, sales, management or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in engineering, sales, or production leadership preferred. Knowledge of dry bulk material handling systems and pricing would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of dry bulk material handling systems and pricing required is preferred.
