The Opportunity

AGI is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their Toronto team. The role will provide support to the International Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the creation, adaptation, and the clearance of regional marketing initiatives; content development, sales material and local management of social media content in accordance with all AGI brand and corporate standards.

The Team

 

The role will report to the Marketing Manager, and work closely with the Manager of Social Media and the rest of the AGI Marketing team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing of sales and marketing projects, including product launches
  • Working closely with your manager to build out campaign and annual strategies for channels in alignment with brand image
  • A solid grasp of B2B and B2C marketing best practices 
  • Lead translation and adaption of original marketing materials into regional languages and contexts
  • Develop advertising, brochure creative and email campaigns, including order management and copywriting as needed
  • Work with the digital team to ensure branded content is updated and maintained on aggrowth.com
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots, including shot list development and scripting
  • Dealer support including advertising, web maintenance, signage, and events
  • Gather competitive market intelligence for strategic sales analysis
  • Coordinate and order marketing materials, promotional items, and clothing
  • Assist with invoicing, budgeting, and planning
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with the internal team as well as external agencies, dealers, and customers
  • Additional tasks as required

Qualifications

  • 2 years of previous marketing experience
  • Post-Secondary education required
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork with the ability to work well across the organization and with vendors including cross-cultural sensitivity skills
  • Ability to execute on projects independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn about the products, equipment, and agribusiness
  • Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages are valuable assets but not required
