The Opportunity

The HRBP partners with the Business Unit leaders to direct and guide all Human Resource activities in support of executing on business strategy.  The HRBP is responsible for delivery of all local HR requirements including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee development, organizational design, benefits administration, and employee relations, among other HR activities. The HRBP also plays a critical role in championing a strong work culture and supporting managers across the teams in leadership best practices.

The Team

This role will report to the SVP, Suretrack and the US Director of Human Resources. HRBP will partner with operations in the analysis and control of occupational hazards and provide safety support to safety leads and employees. The HRPB will also work with Corporate HR to roll out various HR initiatives and continuously improve the employee experience.


  • Provides a level of customer service that emphasizes accessibility, integrity, trustworthiness, confidentiality, respect, and dignity as well as ensures fair and equal treatment of all employees. Engages employees and supports operational focus.
  • Partners with Business Unit leadership on organizational design and workforce planning activities.
  • Partners with Business Unit leadership on coaching, professional development, leadership development and other culture-building activities across the teams.
  • Supports talent acquisition activities for local hiring managers aligning with including conducting interviews, providing assessments, and facilitating onboarding activities.
  • Provides tools and coaching regarding employee development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Assists with employee relation issues and terminations including unemployment claims.
  • Works with Corporate Human Resources and Business Unit management to support a wide variety of employee activities.
  • Prepares HR and management documents, maintains accurate employee files, electronic records, and documentation.
  • Ensures understanding and follows up on completion of HR forms and benefits explanations. Reviews and prepares government required reporting documents such as OSHA, Medicare, and EEO1 reporting.          
  • Adheres to Company policies and procedures covering the privacy of and access to employee information in compliance with federal and state laws and Company privacy practices.
  • Performs additional related duties as requested or required.


  • Equivalent to a BA Degree in HR Management, Safety, Training, Business Administration, or related field.  SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred. 
  • Knowledge of related state and federal employment law required.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in an HR role supporting an organization of similar scope.  HRIS and payroll experience would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to influence and guide leadership teams through change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to demonstrate tact and discretion.       
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage time well                       
  • Customer service and follow up                        
  • Experience with both salaried and hourly employees, and their respective needs
  • Experience identifying talent, helping them grow (identifying both strengths and weaknesses)
  • Working in a matrixed organization
  • Self-directed and results-oriented
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
