The Opportunity

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics activities for assigned projects. You will be a main contact for suppliers and customers, arranging domestic and International shipments, preparing customs documentation, and dealing with various customs brokers and customs authorities.

The Team

You will be a part of the Global Engineering and Sales Execution team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. You will work closely with project management and sales teams across our various global locations. 


  • Liaising with the carriers on freight quotes, shipping arrangements and cargo delivery updates
  • Preparing documentation for international and domestic shipments ensuring accuracy of the paperwork
  • Dealing with the customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance process, providing technical details and resolving issues
  • Coordinating shipments with AGI Divisions and suppliers, checking orders readiness and shipping dates
  • Communicating with the customers, providing shipping updates, solving issues, arranging delivery of customs documents via courier
  • Opening Insurance Certificates for ocean and AF shipments
  • Organizing courier shipments for Marketing and IT Departments
  • Maintaining accurate transaction records following the company’s folder structure
  • Participating in Logistics projects by managing new initiatives as they arise 


  • Post-secondary education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Experience arranging truck shipments between Canada and U.S., preparing customs documentation including CUSMA/USMCA, and dealing with customs brokers
  • Knowledge of export logistics processes, documentation, and customs requirements
  • Working with Harmonized Tariff Schedule, ability to determine the HS Codes
  • Knowledge of the Incoterms
  • Certifications in logistics or freight forwarding will be an asset
  • Strongly skilled in problem solving, customer service, multitasking and time management
  • Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Desire to learn and solid work ethic
