The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a Junior Project Engineer for Danmare, a division of AGI. In this role, you will support and assist the Project Engineer and/or Project Manager with major project initiatives. The responsibilities will include providing engineering support to the intermediate and senior engineers within the Danmare Group. 

The Team

You will work closely with and report to the Danmare Engineering team.  You will collaborate closely with a comprehensive support team of engineers, designers, and directors. 

Responsibilities

  • Drawing layout of existing facilities and the design of proposed projects for build and tendering purposes. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
  • Project management and site contractor supervision during installations. Responsibilities include timeline & budget management and an attention to client’s safety procedures at all times.
  • Assist with equipment sizing for processing applications.
  • Assist lead project managers with multiple projects that may range in complexity, dollars and life cycle.
  • Presentable to customer with good business sense.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact and gain respect quickly at all levels of manufacturing organization.
  • Strong scheduling, budget leadership, facilitating meetings, technical review and resolution ability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • 1-3 years of related food manufacturing engineering experience as outlined in the job summary.
