The Opportunity

AGI is in search of a new Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator at our Horace, North Dakota Warehouse location.  The Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator will report to AGI’s US Distribution Manager and will assist in the administrative operation of the US Warehouses, including coordinating, prioritizing, and supporting the work of the US Distribution Manager. Additionally, they will maintain Westfield’s Safety/DOT program including current records, files, audit results, action items, follow up, and OSHA compliance. Furthermore, they will facilitate training for educational programs, including maintaining and tracking training records. This position will have indirect leadership impact ensuring effective ongoing communication throughout the organization providing direction and identifying, leveraging, sharing, and implementing best practices.

The Team 

The Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator is based out of the Horace, North Dakota warehouse, and reports to the US Distribution Manager for Ag Growth’s Portable Grain Handling Products. 

This dynamic team of currently 7-10 warehouse employees provides best in class service to our North American portable handling customer base. They will work collectively with Dealers, Customers and other Regional Sales Representatives across AGI to meet the growing needs of our customers.


The Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator will assist in the administrative operation of the US Warehouses. More specifically, the Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator will:

  • Handle department correspondence, including typing, copying, distributing, and filing.
  • Compose and/or edit letters, memos, and departmental communications.
  • Prepare reports for daily tracking of operations.
  • Verify and communicate timelines to third party vendors and internal representatives.
  • Ensure transactions between entities are accurate and recorded timely.
  • Assist with fleet and driver safety ensuring DOT compliance.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate training for educational programs, including maintaining and tracking training records.
  • Develop and coordinate safety compliance calendar initiatives and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Open and route mail. Distribute invoices for proper approval.
  • Provide both telephone and walk-in customer support.
  • Perform additional related duties as requested or required.


Candidates for the Administrative Assistant/EHS Coordinator will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
  • Made2Manage (M2M) or other ERP experience, Lean Manufacturing and DOT experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel up to 5% in the United States

Ideally, candidates will be comfortable, through either professional or personal experience, working in the agricultural market segment, but this is most certainly not a requirement.
