The Opportunity

AGI is currently seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator to join the Marketing team.  The successful candidate will work on AGI’s brand social channels, writing, publishing, editing content for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. This individual will also help create unique copy for emails and editorial. The candidate will assist in social media content in accordance with all AGI standards, brand & design guidelines and corporate marketing approvals. You will have some experience in digital marketing, social media, programmatic display and SEO/SEM and be fluent in creating various types of content as well as adapting that content to local languages.

The Team

This role will report directly to the Social Media Manager, and will be a key partner in working alongside the marketing team to generate content that spans the brand ecosystem globally. 


  • Work closely with the Manager, Marketing & Branding to build out campaign and annual strategies for managed channels in alignment with brand image.
  • Identify emerging social media trends and apply them to marketing within the agriculture industry. 
  • Schedule, publish and report content using social media channels or dashboards (Social Studio, Sprinklr, Hootsuite etc.) 
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop strategies to increase growth engagement across our social brands, identifying areas of opportunity and delivering against relative performance benchmarks. 
  • Pull weekly, monthly and campaign analytics for managed channels and adjusting content strategies based on performance analysis.
  • Build out and present monthly social media reporting on all social platforms.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with followers, non-followers, brand partner pages, industry pages etc., daily across all social media platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager and Director, Marketing



  • University degree or related education in marketing or communications.
  • 2+ years previous experience in social media for a brand or agency.
  • A solid grasp of B2B social media marketing best practices. 
  • A foundational knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube paid and organic engagement tactics.
  • Passionate user of social media & digital technologies; knowledge of social media best practices (hashtags, tracked links, in app content editing techniques etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organization skills; self-directed and works effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well across the organization and with vendors.
  • Ability to execute on projects independently as well as part of a team.
  • Understanding of standard marketing techniques.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Social Studio is an asset.
