AGI is seeking a Co-Op student to support the execution of sustainability strategic initiatives and ESG data management at the corporate level for four months starting September 2022. The role requires a person with passion and experience for ESG topics, such as GHG emissions, diversity & inclusion, energy management, and design for sustainability, among others. This is a high visibility role with the chance to work across all levels of the organization, from the Executive Team to facility-level operators. Part of the role will be dedicated to collecting data on ESG topics while preparing tools and level-setting resources to aid in AGI’s sustainability journey. To contribute to the success of these tools and resources, the person will also have to report on research relating to industry trends and best management practices. The Co-Op will work closely with the Senior Manager of Global Sustainability for AGI with frequent interactions with the Corporate Development team. They will be required to interact with teams across Canada and the U.S. dedicated to manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and corporate offices.
