Ag Growth International Announces Expansion of International Sales Team
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada- July 3rd, 2009- Ag Growth International (AGI) is pleased to announce the addition of International Commercial Account Executive, Dr. Joerg Zimmermann.
In this new position, Dr. Zimmermann will contribute to the development of AGI’s commercial grain handling business in international markets with a focus on the
Hi Roller and Union Iron brands.
Dr. Zimmermann holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Hohenheim, which he earned through extensive research of the management strategies and control systems employed by large scale agricultural projects in Russia. While earning his PhD, Dr. Zimmermann worked as a farm management consultant for operations in Europe and the CIS countries, continuing in this role after graduation.
Dr. Zimmermann comes to AGI from NCH Capital Inc., a US-based investment fund currently focused on the agricultural sector in the CIS countries. Dr. Zimmermann speaks German, English and Russian fluently, with basic understanding of French.
AGI believes Dr. Zimmermann will establish himself as an effective leader in the development of its offshore markets.
