Bins With Brains: Why Smart Monitoring Matters More Than Ever chip-flory-tom-ashmore-and-erin-squires.jpeg
Tom Ashmore, AGI Digital Director of Sales, and Erin Squires, Territory Sales Manager, explained why grain bin monitoring technology matters so much after a difficult 2025 season. Erin emphasized that with markets more often “down than up,” farmers need visibility and control to protect their investment and ensure they get every dollar out of their stored grain. They highlighted AGI BinManager technology—remote temperature and moisture monitoring that improves safety and grain quality. As Tom puts it, “Every kernel counts right now, and that’s where bins with brains come into play.”

They also discussed AGI’s newly updated BinManager website, which features educational content from grain scientist Dr. John, customer video testimonials, brochures and more.

Waiting on Weather, Counting on Storage: Texas Growers Look chip-flory-and-joe-guzman.jpeg
Joe Guzman, AGI Territory Sales Manager, talked about what Texas growers are facing heading into the 2026 season. Weather is a top concern, with farmers anxiously monitoring rainfall and preparing for both planting and harvest. Joe captured the sentiment well when he said, “Every day that we don’t get a rain is closer to having a rain.” Pricing pressures and large carryover stocks also add complexity for producers trying to make well‑timed marketing decisions.

To support growers, Joe explained that AGI focuses on grain conditioning, adequate storage and protecting the physical quality of grain until it’s time to sell. He also highlighted AGI’s upgraded bin design, featuring a stronger structured roof.
