AGI Talks “Bins with Brains” at 2026 Commodity Classic

Editor’s Note: This is a summary of the Agriculture of America interview.

Erin Squires and Tom Ashmore, AGI Digital, join Jesse Allen, host of Agriculture of America (AOA), during 2026 Commodity Classic to discuss how bin monitoring technology like AGI BinManager is reshaping grain storage. They emphasize the importance of adopting bin tech that enables farmers to store grain longer, maintain quality and, ultimately, benefit the bottom line in a challenging market.

“With the markets down like they have been for the past couple of years, having technology on your farm to help benefit yourself to try to profit in any way, shape or form is very smart on most farms nowadays,” says Squires. She adds that AGI BinManager plays a vital role in safeguarding stored grain.

“You’re talking about your bank account,” she says. “That’s the grain bin; and, if you don’t have a way of knowing what’s going on inside that grain bin at all times, you have the potential of losing not only that bank account but the entire investment on the farm.”

Jesse Allen, Tom Ashmore and Erin Squires01.jpegAGI BinManager also improves on‑farm safety by preventing grain spoilage, offering remote visibility, and keeping farmers out of potentially hazardous bin conditions. Ashmore explains: “We come on site and do a bin assessment. And we’ll listen to the grower and find out exactly what his needs are. Everyone’s needs are different. We’re here to help with that decision‑making. Because every kernel counts today with the markets being the way they are.”

Squires and Ashmore encourage farmers to explore the latest tools, support resources and educational materials available on the new AGI BinManager website at agibinmanager.com.
