AGI delivers first modular, configurable FLEXmill into U.S. market

During a Feedstuffs 365 interview at IPPE hosted by Farm Progress’ Sarah Muirhead, AGI leaders shared an update on the global feed industry and showcased the AGI FLEXmill feed processing system, which recently entered the U.S. market. Designed for both on‑farm and commercial feed operations, the modular, configurable FLEXmill improves efficiency across feed storage, handling and processing through automated batching and mixing, while helping operators minimize downtime.
Noam Silberstein, AGI Senior Vice President of Global Food & Feed, outlined current market dynamics and AGI’s global strategy. “We’re seeing a number of greenfield facilities being developed in developing nations. In North America, more mature markets, we see a lot of refurbishments, brownfield facilities,” says Silberstein. He notes that AGI’s approach reflects these regional differences, leveraging strong dealer networks, contractor relationships and direct sales teams in North America, while relying on regional partnerships elsewhere. “Brazil is a big focus area for us in ’26. There are a lot of opportunities there. Another big area for us is AMEA, Africa in particular, and parts of APAC,” he adds.
Shawn Conway, Director of Commercial Execution & Product Transfer, Global Feed at AGI, discussed the FLEXmill’s expansion into the U.S. market. “It was designed to replace small‑capacity mills either in a brownfield or small‑infrastructure needs on greenfields,” says Conway. He explains that the FLEXmill has been operating successfully in Canada for more than a decade and that AGI made a strategic decision three years ago to accelerate its U.S. rollout. “I’m really pleased that we have a facility commissioned in Pennsylvania, and we’re in the process of commissioning another facility now in Wyoming.”
Together, Silberstein and Conway positioned the FLEXmill as a practical response to evolving feed‑industry requirements, combining AGI’s global feed‑milling expertise with a flexible, upgrade‑friendly design. The FLEXmill reinforces AGI’s broader commitment to delivering efficient, scalable feed‑processing solutions across North America and serves as a cornerstone technology supporting the company’s continued growth in the U.S. market.
