AGI Nobleford gave back to the community in many ways including food drives, fundraising for the local fire department and donating clothes to the diabetes association.
At Rosenort, we recently did a charity drive for November to raise awareness around men’s health issues. We also work closely with the Community Centre to support development of the facility and programming for local people and actively support local charities such as Naomi House, Morris Youth Bunker through charity drives and donations.
As part of Covid 19 relief for the community, AGI Brazil, with support from AGI Intl, donated 100 food baskets to the Comunity Laundry (transferred to needy families in the region) and 125 liters of alcohol to the Hospital and Maternity of Cândido Mota - enough for one week of use.
At MFS York, 50 food baskets were assembled for the Heartland United Way with time and money contributions from our employees. Employee and company efforts also allowed MFS to adopt two local families – one family of 9 through the Heartland United Way’s program, and one family of 5 through the GRACE Cancer Foundation’s program.
AGI Milltec, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, has donated a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) facility to the Government Hospital, Anekal (located near Bengaluru) to support COVID-19 efforts in the local community. This ICU ward is equipped with all necessary facilities to support both infants and adults suffering from COVID and other serious ailments
At AGI Sentinel, we contributed to several local initiatives such as Adopt-a-Class and volunteers for charities including Blessings in a Backpack, conducted a silent auction baskets for a local veteran in need , among others.
At AGI Olds, we are involved in a range of charitable donations including to school breakfast programs, charitable agencies supporting families in need, Olds Christmas Angels along with emplyees volunteering time to unload trucks at the local food bank.
At Hutchinson Mayrath, our employees collected school supplies for our area schools, Socks for Seniors in our local nursing homes, food for the Lighthouse food bank as well as food and supplies for our local animal shelter (CCARE)
Westeel Winnipeg employees participated in several charitable causes this year. These include the Great Canadian Cycle challenge where our team raised over $3500 for Children’s Cancer research at the Sick Kids Foundation. We also contributed to the Seine River clean-up clearing over 900 lbs of garbage from the riverbank. Our composting program includes diverting waste (400 lbs this year) from landfills that can be turned into compost at a local community garden.
The team at AGI in Oak Bluff raised funds through a Pie-in-the-Face activity for the Siloam Mission, a local charitable organization.
AGI MMS Canada is a proud supporter of charities such as The Ryan Saturno Patient Amenities Fund, Pride Stables, and the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation that raises money for the benefit of our local health care systems.
At Swift current, we made donations to local organizations such as Swift Current SPCA, Dr Noble Irwin Foundation , Salvation Army, Canadian Mental Health Association Swift Current, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation among several others
